Gaiman, Palmer, Bookstores and a Good Cause . . . Could You Want More?

by Web Intern

Two of BUST’s favorite people, author Neil Gaiman and Dresden Dolls frontwoman Amanda Palmer are are headlining together at Liner Notes, a night of music and literature as well as a benefit for HIV/AIDS. The event is put on by the SPIN Book Club on June 3rd at the Housing Works Bookstore and Cafe.

In addition to raising funds and awareness for AIDs, the duo is ‘celebrating the cross-pollination between literature and music.’ Kudos to these cross-disciplinary buddies for reminding the world that the arts are strongest in league with each other! As Amanda puts it: ‘Working with Neil is never work, because we collide so perfectly, even though we come from different worlds.’
