To talk about the resources to help you navigate your experience, we were joined by the Medical Director of M+A Hotline, Dr. April Lockley, and to talk about all the legal goings-on around accessing and using the pill and the efforts to ban the medications, we brought in Executive Director of Abortion Coalition for Telemedicine, Amanda Allen!

Why Are We Fighting So Hard To Protect Abortion Pills?
Allow us to remind you of the absolute nightmare fuel keeping us employed.
First up: Whiplash! White House Press Secretary, Katie Zacharia, has lasted a total of FIVE DAYS in her new, and suddenly former, job. Which is fine by us, since she has ties to anti-abortion group, the White Rose Resistance, and has pushed the conspiracy theory that abortion pills are connected to the Nazi gas used in the Holocaust. Yes, really. We can’t wait to see what fresh, blonde hell awaits us!
And then there’s Kristan Hawkins, who you have heard of as the “Charlie Kirk of Abortion,” and is now being sued under a Texas law her movement fought to put on the books. The lawsuit alleges that Hawkins and other anti-abortion activists ordered abortion pills as part of a stunt, potentially running afoul of the very law they helped champion. Imagine writing the rules, playing games with people’s healthcare, and then acting shocked when someone points out the rules apply to you, too.
So in summary: no, you’re not drinking Nazi abortion pill water; no, the assault on medication abortion has not ceased; and YES! We will aid and abet abortion!!!!
