Yesterday Judge Sonia Sotomayor was confirmed a seat in the United States Supreme Court, only the third woman to do so and the first Hispanic, either man or woman, to achieve the position. This is obviously great, nay, monumental, news and it is a victory for women everywhere but it shows we still have a long way to go when it comes to representing equal rights in the government. – Sylvie
