Support Female-Owned Businesses at Bulletin Broads’ Grand Re-Opening

by Elissa Sanci

Bulletin Broads are opening their newest store series in Williamsburg this Saturday, May 13 at 11 a.m. The new store is “all about women supporting other women,” Ali Kriegsman, Bulletin Broads co-founder, said. And they mean it – 10 percent of all store sales will go to their collaborator, Planned Parenthood of New York City.

Bulletin Broads is a company entirely run by women and offers a collective space for female-run brands to share their products with the world. For their latest store series, Bulletin Broads is working with 30 female-owned brands who’ll rent space in the store and host programs (like DIY necklace and candle-making workshops) throughout the three-month series. These brands (like Raging Bush, Boobs4Babes, Titty Hawk) make products for and about women– think sassy pins, feminist t-shirts and period products.

Stop by the new store on Saturday (145 Wythe Ave., Williamsburg) to support female-owned businesses and celebrate Bulletin Broads’ grand re-opening! Jam to female-fronted music and sip rose as you shop. From 12:30 – 2 p.m., Debbie Allen of HISSYFITCVLT will be painting $5 watercolor vulva portraits– and what better Mother’s Day gift is there?

“The resistance is here,” Kriegsman said. “We’ll help you suit up.”
