Conservatives Stay Fucking Around And Finding Out
WELL, WELL, WELL!!!!! Look whose big beautiful plan to defund Planned Parenthood flopped harder than the US soccer team at the World Cup. Over the holiday weekend, we were offered one tiny slice of independence – as a treat! Conservatives’ one-year ban on Medicaid reimbursements to Planned Parenthoods expired and they couldn’t get it extended. That’s right, now PPs around the country are back to getting $$$ for STI checks, cancer screenings, and *checks notes* not abortion care.
So while anti-abortion bigots try to frame refunding PP as turning back on the Big Abortion “Money Spigot,” let us ASSURE YOU that sadly, there is no faucet of cash washing over us. That we’re all just a bunch of nonprofits with a donate button at the bottom of the email, that independent clinics provide more than half of the nation’s abortions, and that Abortion AF lets you support them directly here.
The Latest Attack On Medication Abortion Is Corny AF
So corny, in fact, it could only have come out of Iowa. The Hawkeye State has its beady little eyes trained HARD on your nether regions, and has enacted a new law that requires in-person prescription and dispensation of medication abortion. It is in no way medically necessary to get in your car, fill up the tank, and go see a doc IRL to get medication abortion, but it certainly adds barriers for A LOT folks with little money and fewer resources in a state that already has a six-week ban. Lawmakers might know that if they spent any time reading actual medication abortion stories.

She is suing the Dept of Veteran’s Affairs and the religious zealot who runs that Department is Doug Collins. Sorry for the mix-up, there are so many misogynists to keep track of I sometimes screw up. My sincere apologies to Jackii and the NWLC.
