Turns Out Love Is Blind to Abortion Misinformation
Warning: LIB Spoilers ahead! The internet exploded this week talking about a reproductive healthcare conversation in the pods between healthcare manager Sarah Williams and certified pod person John Shannon, who said that he thinks abortion should be illegal, and that kids pregnant by incest should suck it up and take one for the team (in so many words). To her credit, Williams shut him down immediately with actual facts about abortion. Since then she’s said that the conversation continued beyond the edit, but I’m not sure if that would be enough for me to say “I DO,” to Temu Joel Webbon. And the more we learn about this John guy, the more justified that feels.
It’s such a head-scratcher that we took to the podosphere to hash it out!

Virginia is one of the FOUR states with abortion on their ballots this upcoming election, so we brought in Han Jones, activist from Virginians for Reproductive Freedom, to drop their knowledge! Why is the only state in the South that doesn’t have an abortion ban seeking reproductive freedom at their election boxes this year? Han’s got the tea. They join us to talk about what it took to get Amendment 1 on their ballot, what Virginians for Reproductive Freedom does, what dirty tricks anti-abobo clowns have been springing on them along the way, and what the future holds for Virginians if they pass this incredible milestone!
