A Little Halloween Help?

by Web Intern

Every year I do this to myself…I wait too long to think of a Halloween costume and then I’m scrambling to find bits and pieces to create the perfect ensemble. Last year, a Frenchman was my costume of choice, which included a drawn on mustache, a hat that resembled a beret (who knew black berets sold-out in October?!), striped shirt, and a little red neckerchief. Ah yes, it was a cute choice.

But this year? I just don’t know. I’m poor so a big-to-do is not going to fly, the racy costumes usually found at most stores these days are not my thing, and I have a few too many ideas. Meg White? Peg Bundy? Can I just don a mask to the Village Parade (which just happens to hold the title of Best Event in the World on Oct. 31st)?

So I need help. What’s your costume? What cheap look can I get away with that’s unique?
