Too impatient to wait for the FDA to sell their lies about mifepristone, well this week a chucklefuck of Senate Republicans launched their own kangaroo court probe into abortion pill manufacturers. Not only are they demanding a fuck ton of records from companies, they’re demanding the FDA have ways to intercept abortion pills in the mail and pursue criminal prosecution! They know they won’t ever stop people from having abortions so they’re just going to try to remove the whole damn telehealth system entirely.
What they can’t change? The truth. ABORTION PILLS ARE SAFE AND AVAILABLE IN EVERY STATE!
Hey, Can You Hop On Zoom For a Sec So A Judge Can Force A C-Section?
Yep. Pro Publica reported that a Florida hospital forced two different Black women to have c-sections after hearings with literal judges from their hospital beds while in labor. Both women, educated on the risks, were denied their advance directives, and without preparation or legal counsel, were forced into these hearings… (again) WHILE IN ACTIVE LABOR.

This is especially rich coming from Florida, a state that probably has a law allowing you to sucker punch a nurse who has pronouns on their badge. Black women and pregnant folks already face medical racism and higher fetal and maternal mortality rates. So might we suggest Florida fix the thousand ways they’ve fucked over their own people instead of removing rights from Black women?
UPDATE On The Absolute Farce Murder Charges Against A Georgia Woman For Allegedly Taking Abortion Pills:
An outraged judge set her bail at $1 and chastised the DA for even showing up with these charges. This is the WTAF moment we love to see and gives us hope this patient will soon be home to heal from this evil and traumatic ordeal. More judges who excoriate police who make up murder charges whenever they want, please! What a novel concept.
