Whip out your Tamagotchi and take a sip of that Surge, because Lisa Frank and Reebok are bringing back the ’90s with their rainbow-filled, limited-edition sneakers. Lisa Frank has made a very exciting comeback in the past few years, coming out with a line of pajamas, a set of adult coloring books, and even a prepaid debit card. Naturally, sneakers are next on the list. Reebok and Frank have teamed up to put an ever-so-’90s spin on Reebok’s classic leather shoe. Because who needs bland, white sneakers when you can have sneakers filled with your favorite Lisa Frank images?
In an interview with Reebok, Frank spilt the beans that she has “always been a sneaker girl.” She continued, “Rainbow colors and fantasy characters never go out of style.” You tell ‘em, Lisa! The limited-edition shoes are sending Frank fans down memory lane. Imagine walking into your first day of school sporting these vibrant sneakers… everyone would be totally jealous. Don’t worry if you are all grown up, though! Lisa Frank has created both adult and kid pairs of this fabulous throwback shoe. Oh, and as if your inner ’90s kid isn’t freaking out enough already, the shoes are signed by Frank herself.
Now, before you put down that Surge and throw your Tamagotchi down to run to your nearest shoe store, there is something you should know. Only two lucky winners will be able rock these babies. That’s right, just TWO! It is the ultimate golden ticket, or should we say, “rainbow ticket?”
Of course, your next question is “How do I win?” Frank and Reebok have taken to social media to determine their two winners. So head on over to Twitter! Participants are given the prompt “What’s your favorite trend from your back to school days?” You then need to Tweet your best responses to @ReebokClassics and @LisaFrank. Want to know more? Go to Reebok’s website for additional information.
Lisa Frank never ceases to amaze us with her new and inventive products. We only have one question, Lisa: What’s next?
