The “Gender in Society” team, made up of folks from POTENTIA magazine, (which “covers gender, sexuality and power relations in a non-pretentious manner”) and Utrecht University, NL (where our own BUST editor-in-chief, Debbie Stoller once worked!) have entered the 2011 Academic Yearprice Competition. The grand prize is 100,000 euros, which the “Gender in Society” group plans to use to create a documentary on gender. Sounds pretty awesome, right?
They’ve already made it through the 2nd round and now they need the help of the public! Voting for them takes about two seconds: just click here, click ‘Gender in de maatschappij,’ then hit STEM (at the bottom of the box.) Voting is open until Friday night.
