Wonder Woman gets a makeover.

by Alison Berry

So most people of have an idea of what Wonder Woman wears, right? That little red, white, blue, and gold bustier/hot pants combo, with those high red boots, wrists cuffs and let’s not forget that fancy headband. You’d have to say that Wonder Woman is definitely recognizable. I mean, don’t you just wonder where she holds stuff or if she ever has had a wardrobe malfunction when she’s kicking butt? I do.

Well, that’s all about to change. Starting in issue No. 600 of Wonder Woman (which comes out today actually) not only is the story shifting to an alternate timeline, but Wonder Woman gains a new costume to boot.

Personally, I think that her new costume is a bit…90s. Being a bit nit-picky here, but not one of the best costume redesigns, or the most original (Rogue from X-Men comes to mind); and this is not the first time that Wonder Woman has had a (not so) dramatic costume change.

Conclusion: Yes, she does have pants (which is always good), but I just hope that new tank top of hers has some rock solid support.

What do you think?
