Women’s Experimental Sound Festival, Brooklyn, NY

Tired of listening to the same old type of music?  Are your ears in search of something a bit less familiar?  Check out the Women’s Experimental Sound Festival, Saturday, February 20th, at The Velveteen Rainbow in Brooklyn.  With female artists making music with innovative techniques and instruments such as the augmented tango shoe, 4-channel electroacoustic, and live sound and visual compositions, the event is surely not to bore those tired of the same ol’, same ol’.  Mini-art galleries will also be exhibited, and an open jam will follow the performances! So come support these unconventional ladies and leave your musical preconceptions at home.
