The New Museum’s (235 Bowery, New York, NY) women-dominated Spring Exhibitions opened this past week, and you should definitely mosey on over there and check it out. With five exhibitions on five floors, make sure you have a couple hours free to take everything in. Here’s a peek at two of my favorite exhibitions.

The Parade: Nathalie Djurberg (with Music by Hans Berg) Djurberg’s exhibition includes a room full of beautiful/creepy birds and animations that speak to her interest in physical and psychological transformation (note: Djurberg’s exhibition is located at Studio 231, which is right next door to the New Museum).

siege: Phyllida Barlow Barlow’s exhibition includes sculptures that take up a lot of space, and you can easily see that her work is inspired by objects that direct or impede movement through space.
