Jeez Louise, is it nearly 2009 already? Where did the year go? Guess it’s time to whip out the ol’ pen and paper and *sigh* write down those resolutions. I have some good ones too: Learn Finnish. Adopt a sea monkey. Travel to Machu Picchu. Build a time-traveling DeLorean, go back to 1995 and tell my younger self ‘Lose the bangs.’
Need a few ideas of your own? Visit the Wishing Wall at the Times Square Information Center at 1560 Broadway in NYC. From 8am to 8pm or anytime online, you can write a wish, dream etc, and pin it to the wall. On Dec. 31, resolutions will be collected and dropped along with tons of confetti on the revelers gathered to watch the ball drop at Times Square.
Not a bad way to ring in the New Year.
