Coral Charles-Dunne, 91, of Birmingham has an interesting and educational hobby. She spends up to six hours a day knitting breasts of all shapes and sizes to aid in breastfeeding instruction. The knitted breasts are used by expectant mothers to learn various breast feeding techniques. She was initially approached by breastfeeding network volunteer, Bev Dunn, and has been knitting breasts ever since! “I’ve knitted stacks of stuff for charity, like pull overs, scarves and hats for orphans in Romania,” she says, “Though this is definitely the most unusual thing I’ve done.”
