Picture it… an all-drag cast reenacting two timeless Christmas episodes from our fav single retirees, The Golden Girls. Like a midnight gossip sesh over a slice of cheesecake, it’s almost too good to be true.
San Francisco’s Trannyshack will put on the holiday homage to Miami’s hottest foursome at Mama Calizo’s Voice Factory (1519 Mission St.) on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday nights between now and the 26th (excluding Christmas Eve and Christmas). Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
If you could be any Golden Girl, which one would it be? I’m partial to Sophia sense of style (cardigans are way cooler than skirt suits with shoulder pads), but when I took this “Which Golden Girl are you?” quiz it turned out I’m pretty much equal parts Rose and Dorothy. Sorry, Blanche.
