Vendor Spotlight : Feeling Grand with Grand Wazoo

by Lauren Rubin

Is penny pinching cramping your art school drop out flair? Here at the Bust headquarters we know the recession is no friend to lacking wardrobe and starving artists. Is your old faithful sketch book dog eared and drab?  Need a jolt of funny boned infused inspiration to get through the daily grind? Fortunately for you lovely folks the solution to all of these predicaments is quite simple and fun.

Get a head of the class (or just look the part) and take a stroll to the Grand Wazoo booth in this weekend’s Bust Craftacular at the Maker Faire. There you can meet the dynamic duo Morgan Lappin and Katherine Boyd, bringing you the finest in fanciful handmade notions. Cover up your nakeds and show some  homosapien pride in their witty Humans T shirt.  Got a woody for some Woody Allen? Brace yourself for the ultimate in tchotchke containing carryalls and pick up a Woody tote or a hand silkscreened t- shirt

Grand Wazoo also specializes in repurposing  record covers and children’s books into pleasant sketchbooks, with vintage paper ephemera mixed right in the pages for extra oomph!  Making it all that much easier to be a mean green doodle machine, and all for under $20. Now that is what I call grand!

If all of this sounds like your cup of tea, just imagine all the excitement that is waiting just for you at this weekend’s Craftacular! It’s going to be BUSTing with grass roots creativity, funky vendors, and insightful crafty demos. Don’t get left in the dust, score your tickets here today!
