Vendor Spotlight: Eco-Friendly Duds From GreenBeing

by Intern Lauren

There’s a certain kind of gratification that comes along with purchasing a vintage or handmade item, whether it’s because you know you’re reducing your carbon footprint, or you feel assured that you can stroll the streets of Manhattan without exchanging an awkward, unexpected moment with a stranger of “Are we wearing the exact same thing?”

Whatever the reason, GreenBeing, one of the vendors setting up shop at our Craftacular event at The Seed this weekend, offers vintage and handcrafted items by regional designers that are not only cute (and sometimes functional), but eco-friendly as well. In fact, the entire business is eco-friendly—even the online store’s Webhost is “300% green.” The Scranton-based vendor’s merchandise ranges anywhere from aprons and dresses, to camera straps and coffee sleeves (Can you say ultra-last-minute father’s day gifts?), and everything in between.

Swing by their online store to get a taste of what’s to come, and visit GreenBeing at the Craftacular this weekend to get your fix of all things vintage and handmade!
