Oh, you didn’t hear? Tina Fey is hosting SNL’s 39th season premiere with awesome musical guest Arcade Fire. And judging by the promo, the episode looks simply divine. In the video, she admits that she is super excited and rejoices in her friendship with colleague Kenan Thompson. They even engages in a little dirty talk about the number 39, although it turns out to be more disturbing and hilarious than sexy. Parodying an Emmys wardrobe malfunction, Tina even forgets to wear her shirt to the shoot and bares all.
She promises that the episode will be over in time for us all to watch the other big television event this week, the Breaking Bad finale. She is not to be upstaged by Brian Cranston, and although she’s “got nothin” yet along the lines of a Breaking Bad sketch, there’s still time. Rejoice in the glory that is women in comedy, and watch the promo below.
