Heads up BUSTies! China’s largest music festival, Modern Sky Festival, is set to come to the U.S. for the first time ever! That means a two-day musical gathering of both U.S. and Chinese bands (including BUST favorite Cat Power!) in New York’s Central Park at Rumsey Playfield on October 4th and 5th, 2014.
Not only will there be rockin’ bands for two straight days, but Brooklyn Flea’s Smorgasburg Food Market will provide festival goers with food from New York favorites including Asia Dog, Blue Marble Ice Cream, Lonestar Empire BBQ, and Pizza Moto. Additionally, VIP ticket holders will gain access to an exclusive pre-show buffet catered by Williamsburg’s Baby’s All Right.
Celebrated New York designer Wendy Mullin (Built By Wendy) has designed the official festival merchandise, including t-shirts, jumpsuits, totes and her iconic guitar straps. All will be on sale in limited quantities during both days of the festival, so be sure to stop by and grab a souvenir!
