This post goes out to all our pinup loving girls, and especially Celeste, the BUST intern with a love for peep toes and pumps, sweetheart necklines and lots of leg. Painted Pinups is a photo studio based out of Orange County that specializes in recreating the classic pinup looks of the 40’s and 50’s through individual photo shoots or group parties . Personally, I would love to have a pinup extravaganza for a birthday or bachelorette party.
At the event, each guest gets a makeover, including hair and makeup, a one-hour photo shoot, $60 cred toward re-prints, and a lo-res CD of all their photos. If you host the party at their studio, they even provide food and drinks along with the session!
I’ve included some of my favorite pics here, but the gallery styles range from sassy 1950’s homemaker looks to girls in more sweet and modest Sandra Dee styles to the super sexy lingerie on a motorcycle crop. From what I can see, it looks like you direct the vision for the shoot. So, kick up your heels women! ~Hannah
