Earlier this year, director Sal Bardo released his 17-minute sci-fi video Pink Moon. In the video, straight people are a minority in a world of queerness, which sounds pretty ace to me. Bardo has now followed up with a chilling tale of desire and longing in old age in his new video, Great Escape.
The video relays the story of a 70-year-old woman living with her husband but not lacking in curiosity for the world beyond a lifetime of heterosexual monogamy. In the video, the woman abandons her spouse for a woman she loved quite a long time ago. The video uses a track from Pink Moon with vocals by Stranger Cat and is sure to leave you with all the feelings.
