These Ladies Put a New Spin on “White Christmas”

A Christmas carol to put all other Christmas carols to shame – “White Privilege” written by the team at Lady Parts Justice to the tune of “White Christmas” is the perfect holiday reflection on everything that has been happening in our country during the past few months (and for a solid portion of our entire history).

Set on the streets of Brooklyn, five women of color slowly sway past brownstones singing their revised rendition of the holiday classic, as two white police officers stalk behind them and a bunch of white people do illegal things without a glance from the officers. It’s almost too close to home.
