These Gals Were The Fashion Goddesses Of Afropunk Paris

by Alexa Salvato

After seeing the badass looks of the ladies of AfroPunk Paris all over the Internet, we just had to share some of their pics here, too. For those who don’t know, AfroPunk’s an annual music festival is hosted in different cities each year — the event features some of the most awesome artists around, most of whom are black and many of whom are women.

On its site, the fest is described as “the best assembly of female musical talent since Lilith Fair.” And it was a baller line-up this year in Paris, with headliners like Lianne La Havas, Sandra Nkaké, and the perpetually awesome Jaden and Willow Smith. Historically, artists have ranged in age, popularity, and genre (for example, last year in Brooklyn, Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings performed!)

The location of AfroPunk travels every year, so check out its website to see if the festival is coming your way! And work up some serious outfit envy by checking out MyColoures’s extensive collection of gorgeous pics!
