Connie Britton Sets Out To Prove That Feminism is Not a Dirty Word

by Maggie Stamets

If you needed another reason to love Connie Britton, we’ve got one: she’s judging a feminist video contest. Pro-woman media compay SheKnowsMedia  and the Ms. Foundation will be holding #TheFWord Video Contest as a part of the #TheFWord: Feminism is Not a Dirty Word campaign, which launched in fall 2015. Britton championed the campaign when it was announced, and she’s doubling down on her involvement by judging the contest. If you’re interested in enterting, the videos should be two to three minutes long and describe your personal take on what it means to be a feminist.

Entries will be judged on their creativity, quality and originality by a panel that also includes Matt McGorry, Shiri Appleby, Franchesca Ramsey (a.k.a. Chescaleigh) and Laura Benati. This awesome team of feminists want to hear from all types of people with all different points of view by February 28.

#TheFWord

This isn’t the first time Connie Britton has encouraged people to speak up about feminism. She is an avid supporter of #TheFWord and encourages her fans to use the hashtag. And who could forget her video responding to the ridiculous amount of attention her hair got?
