The Village Pet Store & Charcoal Grill

by Team Intern

Any lovely ladies in New York this month should head on down to Greenwich Village to check out graffiti artist’s Banksy’s newest project, The Village Pet Store and Charcoal Grill, because it is seriously one of the coolest things I have seen in a long time. Banksy, renowned around the world for his political street art, used animatronics for the first time in the Pet Store and the result is absolutely amazing! Watch live chicken nuggets peck at barbecue sauce, a pearl-wearing rabbit manicure her own nails, a suave leopard chilling in a tree, and many other exotic animals. The show, a statement on factory farming and society’s treatment of animals, will get adults thinking but is fun enough for kids, too. The free show runs every day from 10:00 am to midnight at 89 Seventh Avenue South until Halloween.
