Maria Bamford, who you may know as the “the crazy Christmas lady” in Target’s Black Friday ad campaign the past three years, is a funny woman. Funny enough that she recently played a recurring character on the fX series Louie and will soon recur in the upcoming reboot of Arrested Development on Netflix.
Good timing, since Bamford will be releasing her first direct-to-fans special Maria Bamford: The Special Special Special! on November 28, 2012. This one-hour “anti-special” features the comedian performing stand-up in her living room for her parents, Joel and Marilyn.
