The Lonely Soldier

The American military has more women fighting in the current Iraq war than in any other war in history, yet only one in ten soldiers are women. The play ‘The Lonely Soldier Monologues: Women at War in Iraq ‘ explores the repercussions this fact has on women soldiers through seven monologues comprised of the words from the women who have lived it. The play will be shown at the Theater for the New City, located at 155 First Avenue at East 10th Street and will run from March 5th through March 22nd. The play starts at 8:00 PM Thursday through Saturday and 3:00 PM on Sunday.
