The Girlie Show in Oklahoma!

The Girlie Show is a two day event created to promote, celebrate, encourage and showcase female talent. The mission of The Girlie Show is to give rockin’ arts-and-craftin’ females an opportunity to show their goods and make some cash in a fun party atmosphere. Yes, it’s called an art show, but they encourage you to challenge the definition of ‘art’. The 2008 event will feature 46 talented artists and designers. In addition to the opportunity to see and purchase handcrafted art at the show both days, Friday night attendees will enjoy a variety of fine food from local restaurants, house DJ’s, and the signature Girlie Show drink, the ‘Girlietini’. Saturday’s event features 8 live bands throughout the day.

The Girlie Show 2008 will be held Friday, November 7, 8 to midnight and Saturday, November 8, noon to 5 p.m at the Oklahoma City Farmer’s Market.
