Looks like Brody Dalle has a new band, and so far, me likey very much. While I was never much a fan of the Distillers mall punk sound, I love the direction Spinnerette is taking. With a video by the amazing Liam Lynch , and a sound that seems very influenced by her baby daddy’s band, Queens of the Stone Age, I have a feeling this girl could quite possibly kick some much needed life into the rock scene. With her gorgeous looks and Joan Jett snarl, girl’s got an attitude. I’m always complaining about how there aren’t any great rock chicks around these days, and with the exception of Karen O, I stand by my claim. Well lets see how Brody does, this might actually be fun.
