Sarah Silverman Writes Poignant, Funny Post About Her Recent Near Death Experience

by Becky Nash

Famous feminist comedian Sarah Silverman announced on Facebook yesterday that she is “lucky to be alive” after a freak case of epiglottitis landed her in the ICU recently. The comedian said she went to the doctor for a sore throat and ended up spending several days recovering while under anesthesia. She thanked the medical professionals who cared for her as well as the friends and family who spent time with her in the hospital. In true Sarah Silverman fashion, she also told some silly penisy stories about her time in the hospital. You can read the post here.

Ms. Silverman, we too are happy you are alive and we will celebrate your recovery by watching your brilliant wage gap video.
