Rock Out With Your Equality Support Out! Freedom to Marry Benefit Concert in NYC

by Kaitlin Cole

Listen to awesome music and support everyone’s freedom to marry at the same time-sounds like a pretty great combination!  The Freedom to Love Now! concert, taking place on October 30th in NYC, will benefit Freedom to Marry, an organization that strives for marriage equality in more states across the country (yes, please!).

The fantastic bill of performers includes Rufus Wainwright, fun., Thomas Bartlett (aka Doveman), They Might Be Giants, The National, Toshi Reagon, John Cameron Mitchell with Stephen Trask, and Justin Vivian Bond.

Tickets range from $45-$150 depending on seat location.  You can also purchase the “Commitment Ring” package for $250, which includes a preferred seat, a poster, and a concert program.  Or you can splurge on the “Engagement Ring” package for $1200, which includes two front row tickets, two invitations to the dress rehearsal on October 29th, two invitations to the meet and greet party, a signed concert poster, gift bag, and acknowledgement in the concert program.

The show is taking place at Beacon Theatre at 2124 Broadway in New York City and starts at 8 p.m.  You can buy a ticket here!
