Q Lazzarus Goodbye Horses: The Many Lives of Q Lazzarus (Music From the Motion Picture): A BUST Review

Goodbye Horses: The Many Lives of Q Lazzarus, a documentary that tells the story of New Jersey-born taxi driver Diane Luckey turned iconic singer/songwriter Q Lazzarus, has an accompanying soundtrack available in both 10-track vinyl and 20track CD formats. Included in this fantabulous collection of post-punk, danceable jams is Lazzarus’s most well-known song, “Goodbye Horses.”

There are also other originals like “I See Your Eyes,” “A Fools Life,” and “Bang Bang” along with covers of the classic “Summertime” and Talking Heads’ “Heaven,” which Luckey performed in Jonathan Demme’s film Philadelphia.” This album serves as a great introduction to an incredibly talented artist who’s finally getting the recognition she deserves.
