Remember when Molly Ringwald’s character Andy would bite her lip, roll her eyes up and squeal in delight whenever she had a ‘Too ecstatic for words’ moment? I bet you anything that if she had viewed the Pink and Blue Projects created by JeongMee Yoon, she’d be tickled pink.
Inspired by her five-year-old daughter’s near fatal attraction to the color pink, Yoon created a thesis that explores the cultural trends and ideas of kids from different ethnicities and backgrounds as well as raising other issues, such as capitalism and consumerism.
