New Orleans’ Sissy Bounce Queen, Big Freedia, is most definitely gonna be in Brooklyn this weekend to kickoff her U.S. tour! Consistently BUSTing gender norms, Big Freedia will be bringin’ her crew of dirty dancers including Altercation (booty bounce instructor on the side) and her pal DJ Rusty Lazer along for the ride.
During the day on Saturday, August 28th, the troupe will be at MoMA’s PS1’s Warm Up Party beginning at 2pm. When the sun sets, Big Freedia will be sissy bouncin’ over to CoCo 66 in Greenpoint. Doors open at 10pm along with the Svedka Vodka open bar.
Opening for Big Freedia will be Brooklyn-based House of Ladosha with DJs Brenmar and Venus X to follow.
