My BFF and the other half of my band Drunky Brewster choreographed Troma‘s new feature Poultrygeist and it premiers tonight! She is all over this thing and my crazy little sister also has a cameo.
All of tonights shows were sold out but they bumped it to a bigger room so you can still grab tickets for the 7:30 show so move fast!

The special effects are said to be some of Troma’s best yet and I am sure it has something to do with Anouk Whissell and her Le Bagman crew. Anouk and two of her friends made one of my fav shorts of all time, it may be one of my fav movies of all time. The three of them did their own special effects for the short and entered it in Troma Dance (Troma’s responce to Sundance). Lloyd Kauffman loved their blood splatter so much he invited them to work on Poultrygeist. I just found out they are making a full length Le Bagman and I can’t wait. The short had something like 20-something deaths in less then 20 mins and each one is a peach. Check it:
