Always looking to expand my sexual encyclopedia, I’ve been disheartened and confused by the lack of public discourse around fisting. In fact, efforts to bring it up with my most sex-positive acquaintances have resulted in awkward laughing and quick avoidance — a reaction I couldn’t understand until I did a Google image search (Don’t do it). Per usge, pornographic hyperbole has taken over the popular imagination, and left curious people with little space for actual understanding.
That is why I was so thrilled that Sex Nerd Sandra (hosted by Sandra Daugherty) caught on to this major dearth and dove right into the topic with her Oct. 16 podcast, “The Silent Duck with Allison Moon plus Jess & Roe!” The verdict? Most people are scared to talk about fisting!
Sex Nerd Sandra talks about other things too.
