We first fell in love with Niecy Nash as Deputy Raineesha Williams, the saucy, man-bashing cop on Comedy Central’s Reno 911. Since then, the California-born actor, model, and producer has taken on countless iconic roles – as civil rights activist Richie Jean Jackson in 2014’s Selma; as Scream Queen‘s special agent Denise Hemphill; and as hospice nurse DiDi on the bittersweet HBO comedy Getting On. This summer, Nash returns to the small screen for the Rashida Jones-produced Claws, a series chronicling the lives of five manicurists working at a South Florida salon-slash-money laundering operation.
