New Breast Cancer Vaccine Shows Promise

It’s a great day for women’s health!  A new vaccine is in the works and currently showing great promise of preventing and treating breast cancer.

Breast cancer affects one in eight women in the United States, and this vaccine holds the potential to save millions of lives worldwide.  Not only has it shown to prevent cancer from forming, it could also halt the growth of existing tumors.  These studies have only been administered in mice, and if they are successful in human trials then women will have a powerful tool in fighting this deadly disease.
