I’m used to taking fashion cues from style icons of long ago, but Alexa Chung is one of the few modern gals whose style I love through and through. She’s got an effortless and playful ease to her look that many girls, including myself, definitely covet. Her last collection for Madewell did extremely well and I’m still bummed out I never got my hands on this dress, but thankfully her new collection for Madewell is just as adorable and soon set to be sold online and in stores starting September 22nd. “A lot of the collection,” Alexa explained to NY Magazine, “is based on girls in bands, or girls standing side of stage,” so it’s only fitting that the ads were shot in music capital of the world, Austin, Tx!
