I was very sad to hear of the passing of Natasha Schneider, the Russian born singer and musician from the band Eleven. I was lucky to meet her once at a photoshoot a few years ago, while she was on tour with Queens of the Stone Age. She died of cancer on July 2nd. Friends of Natasha’s, QOTSA, PJ Harvey, Jack Black + Kyle Gass, Matt Cameron, Brody Dalle, Jesse Hughes, Billy F. Gibbons, Chris Goss, and Alain Johannes will be performing on Aug 16th in LA at the Henry Ford Theater in her memory. Proceeds from the event will go to defray the costs associated with Natasha’s battle with cancer.
Tickets are $100 and go on sale this Saturday, July 19th @ Ticketmaster.
