I recently discovered Founders & Followers, the fancy online shop with a million “must add to my wish list” kind of items by some of my favorite designers, along with awesome ones I’d never heard of. Besides just being an online shop, the appropriately named store is sort of a mishmash of designers, artists, photo shoots, and workshop features of where the designers get their work groove on. This concept store, which launched last fall, features lots of unique and exclusive merchandise by designers like Shipley & Halmos, Band of Outsiders, Bodkin, Samantha Pleet, WHIT, Rachel Antonoff, and Devastee, along with limited edition illustrations by artists like Sophie Toulouse and Katherine Pont. In all its awesomeness, Founders & Followers, sort of reminds me of Opening Ceremony in the array of designers and overall fresh new talent, which, lets be honest, there can never be enough of!
