I know most of you that read this blog don’t care at all about this show. Which is totally understandable. I, however, will be watching every episode (or at least as long as my lil sis is still on). She is the one in the tiara, Zui. My sister has always been pretty vain so this comes as no shocker to me (every time she visits me she brings a new picture of herself for my fridge). I am sure Paris loved her. Not only does she have insanely awesome style and an amazing weave but she’s also hilarious.
MTV flew my sister up to NY last week with some of the other contestants to be on the Tyra Banks show so I meet up with them afterward. Sadly, Onch wasn’t there, something about him makes me think ‘dance dance revolution’. He just looks like he has crazy dance moves. The next night my sis and me went to the opening of Haven to meet up with Paris because her B was spinning the opening. Shockingly she didn’t suck. She didn’t come across as snobby, rude or stupid. We chair danced (it was way to crowded to move), drank vodka and bullshited. Everything was pretty normal, except the bodyguards on each side of our table. I tried to convince her to start a website called ‘Paris Says’, that would paparazzi the paparazzi. Which I thought would be hilarious, but she said she was too scared of the paparazzi to make fun of them. Which makes sense, I guess. The papz molds a lot of young minds. I would still love to see celebs bash the TMZ dudes. It would be so easy because they are such asspeople. Sinsu and Natasha were also at Haven. Sinsu was wearing some old lady church hat and a sweet peasant dress with puffy sleeves, which I loved. Natasha’s boyfriend was wearing one large hoop earring, which confused me. At one point there was talk of going to another bar and Paris asked if I knew of a place we could go where she wouldn’t make too much of a scene. This of course was a no, where would I take her? The Turkey’s Nest for to-go Margaritas? The Levee? The patrons at the bars I frequent probably won’t swarm her for photo ops but they would probably try to steal her purse.
I love that during my sister’s makeover she wanted big eyebrows! I also had to look up what TTYN meant, apparently its ‘talk to you never’.
