More! Gift Guide!

by Lisa

Picking things for the holiday gift guide is one of my favorite duties when it comes to working on the Dec/Jan issue. It’s so fun to window shop on the Internet and see all the awesome goodies that everyone puts together. Inevitably, I find way more cool stuff than fits on one page, so here are a few extras in case you need some additional gift-giving inspiration (for friends, family, or, of course, yourself!). First up, this Letter Bag from Moop in gunmetal gray. Handmade and extremely well-crafted, this bag is beautifully utilitarian and big enough to haul all a gal’s necessities and then some.

Seonna Hong is one of my favorite artists and her sweet picture pop-up book Animus has just been reprinted, perfect for any little ones in your life but awesome for grown-up type people too.

I have a pair of these undies from PACT, and not only are they some of the most comfy boy shorts I’ve ever worn, but also 10% of the proceeds of this design go to one of my favorite non-profit organizations: 826 Valencia. Each design is inspired by the non-profit it benefits so you can give a pal a pair that will also give to a charity they love.

A loooooong time ago, when BUST was only my favorite magazine and not also my place of employment, I read an article in it about a T-shirt company that reproduced vintage tees worn by all my favorite rockers. I still love the line, Worn Free, especially this Voulez-vous… shirt that Yoko Ono sported back in the day. Get one for each of your Sisters, O Sisters!

Even though Dazed and Confused has been one of my favorite movies since the 90s, it somehow flew under my radar that a Criterion edition of it exists. I’d bet my camaro that there’s at least one person on your list who would flip for this pumped up version. And if you don’t know anyone who’d love it? Well, it’d be a lot cooler if you did.
