Singer-songwriter Mirah and Thao Nguyen of Thao With the Get Down Stay Down, have been getting down and staying down with each other in their personal lives, but now they are joining forces as Thao & Mirah and releasing a self-titled debut. The album will be released on April 26th with label, Kill Rock Stars. The couple, which went on tour together last year, recorded the album in a two week period with help from producer, Merril Garbor of tUnE-yArDs, and other Bay Area musicians. When Mirah and Thao go back on tour, they will be teaming up with Air Traffic Control, an organization that helps promote social causes. Go team Mirah & Thao!
