The Great British Baking Show

My favorite soothing reality TV series, the Great British Baking Show (The Great British Bake-Off in the UK; Pillsbury owns that copyright to the words “bake-off” in the US), drops a new season on Netflix this Friday, November 9—plus an old season is now on Netflix under the title The Great British Baking Show: The Beginnings.

MUSIC

Boygenius by Boygenius

Boygenius’ (made up of Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus) debut EP is collaborative and full of feelings. See BUST’s October/November print issue for review. Out Friday, November 9.

Paycheck by Pip Blom

Amsterdam-based alt-rock singer Pip Blom’s new EP “shrug[s] off some of her former cheeriness in favor of Brit-pop sardonicism,” writes BUST. See October/November print issue for review. Out Friday, November 9.

“thank u, next” by Ariana Grande

This past weekend, Ariana Grande dropped an empowering breakup song minutes before her recent ex-fiancé Pete Davidson appeared on SNL. “I’m so fuckin’ grateful for my ex,” Grande sings. “Thank u, next.”
