The comedy goddesses have answered our prayers and it has been done: Maya Rudolph did a Rachel Dolezal impression. The actress blessed us with the impersonation recently on Late Night with Seth Meyers and killed it.

In case you’ve somehow successfully avoided the media frenzy around her, Rachel Dolezal is a woman who was born to white parents… but has been saying she’s black for around ten years. Maya bears a striking resemblance to her. “People are like ‘oh, it’s too bad you haven’t been on SNL since 2007,” she said, “You have to play this lady.” She compared the situation to when Tina Fey was asked to play Sarah Palin.
