Fans of badass comedian (and former BUST magazine cover star) Margaret Cho will be STOKED to know she will continue to tour in 2015 and is returning to NYC for the first time in over 2 years!
Cho is excited too, saying:
I’m so thrilled to announce that I will be filming my new special at the Gramercy Theatre in NYC on March 7th (additional show on March 6 will not be filmed) and I want you to come! This is my most exciting show to date and I can’t wait to share it with you. This show is all about the insanity in the world – it’s called “there’s no “I” in Team, but there is a “Cho” in Psycho.” I’ve been saving NYC just for this, so please join me for this party. It’s going to be legendary!
The Gramercy Theatre is a pretty intimate venue, so act fast. Pre-sale for show tickets will start tomorrow, Friday, December 12th at 10am til Saturday at 10pm (with the password MORAN). Regular ticket sales will start Monday, the 15th. Tickets are available here! You can even get VIP tickets to do a meet & greet with Cho after the show.
Cho has also been working to bring awareness to homelessness in her hometown of San Francisco through busking. It’s part of Cho’s project #BeRobin, in which she’s honoring comedian Robin Williams and his activist work with Comic Relief. Watch a clip of her below:
