Manic Monday: Interpreting Interpretive Dance

by Debbie Stoller

Ah, Internets! You so funny. In this wonderful video, Gwen Verdon’s awesome Bob Fosse dance number, “Mexican Breakfast” (??)  from some time in the 70s is given subtitles to explain what each dance move is trying to say, and it’s just one of those wonderful things you can watch over and over and over again. If this doesn’t make you laugh on a crabby Monday morning, you should probably go see the doctor. Check out the vid after the jump, and enjoy.
