Make this little lot at Sunday’s BUST Craftacular in east London!

by Victoria Woodcock

This Sunday’s BUST Craftacular at York Hall in Bethnal Green will be full to the rafters with talented designer-makers (you can see the line-up here), but shoppers will also be able to try their hand at a new craft.

Learn to knit with A Common Thread and make this super statement necklace in a cool recycled-jersey yarn (1-3pm, FREE). Get your glue and glitter on and “Pimp Your Shades!” with Use It Up. Wear It Out (2-4pm, £5 on the day). You can saw and shape a plastic-fantastic necklace or keyring with I Am Acrylic (all day, £10), while Mollie Makes will be manning a “Stitching Station”; sit down with the team behind this brilliant UK crafting magazine and whip up a felt cactus or succulent (all day, FREE). No skills are required; all materials are provided.

A lucky 25 people have already booked their place on Zeena Shah‘s sold-out screen-printing workshop and will be walking away with a unique tea towel.

What’s more, Self Packaging are providing super-stylish boxes for all the workshop creations, so they will look ultra-gift-worthy – should you be able to part with your creation, that is!

BUST Summer Craftacular, Sunday May 17, 12pm-6pm at York Hall, 5 Old Ford Road, Bethnal Green, London E2 9PJ
